The Olentangy Local School District is the 5th-largest school district in Ohio and the largest in Delaware County, currently serving approximately 24,000 students across 27 schools—17 elementary schools, six middle schools, and four high schools. For the 2024-25 school year, Olentangy earned a five-star overall rating on the Ohio School Report Card for the third consecutive year. It is the only district in Ohio with more than 10,000 students to achieve that distinction, and it has done so while growing by 400-500 students every year.
Delaware County has been named the Healthiest County in Ohio every year since 2015, and its housing market reflects that standing. The Lewis Center area median home sold price reached approximately $515,000 in late 2024, up more than 5% year-over-year, and the area's median household income exceeds $148,000—among the highest in Central Ohio.

A no-new-millage bond passed in November 2025 will fund an 18th elementary school and a 5th high school, keeping pace with continued growth.
All four — Olentangy, Olentangy Liberty, Olentangy Orange, and Olentangy Berlin — offer strong AP programs, competitive athletics, and solid college placement.
